Desenzano Information
Desenzano is a lively, colourful and thoroughly pleasant holiday destination and is also Lake Garda's largest town situated on the South West corner of the Lake. Desenzano is particularly popular with the Italian tourists, who go there not only to relax, but also to quietly wander around the narrow streets, shopping in the surprisingly upmarket shops or absorbing the ambience in the street cafés. Desenzano is one of the few really lively towns at the Southern end of the lake with plenty of water sports, bars, discos and nightclubs on offer.
The streets and piazzas around the harbour are so pretty and the attractive yachts just seems to finish off the unique ambience.
