Apartment overview

Two lovely two bedroomed apartments at Desenzano, the largest town on Lake Garda, with a two large bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen.  The apartment is owned by the Manestrini family who also own Residence San Rocco.  Guests can use the swimming pool at Residence San Rocco about a 10 minute car journey away.  The apartment is in a good location only about 500m from the centre of Desenzano and 1km from Desenzano Railway station.

9 da Garda Golf Soiano del Lago.
plusi Bogliaco Golf, Sommacampagna Golf, Golf Paradiso in Peschiera e Franciacorta Golf Club all nearby.

Desenzano, on the South West corner of Lake Garda.  Lake Garda's largest town.

Nearby Attractions

Casa Nicoletta is ideally situated for visiting the South or West side of the Lake including the lively town of Desenzano with great nightlife at weekends, the picturesque towns of Salo and Gardone Riveria (which was Winston Churchill's favourite holiday destination) and the pretty little towns of Portese and San Felice. 

Gardone Riveria has the gardens and former home of the poet Gabriele d' Annunzio called Vittoriale degli Italiani, which makes a great day out exploring the eclectic range of buildings and gardens, which include his ancient car, the aeroplane he used to drop leaflets in the First World War (safer than bombs!) and even the prow of the ship on which he served.  There is also the Botanical Garden of Arthur Hruska.

There is some very good shopping on the West side of the lake with a number of outlet centres near Salo and even a micro brewery.  Follow the Brescia road and there are quite a number of clothing outlet stores, especially shoe shops.

Sirmione is only about a 10 minute drive or bus ride from Desenzano and is a wonderful town to visit plus guests can also travel by boat (or road) from Desenzano to many of the interesting towns on the East side of the Lake including Lazise, Bardolino and Garda.  The themeparks of , Movie Studios Park and Aqua Paradise Park are about 30 minutes by road and the parks run complimentary buses.  The Zoo at Pastrengo is about 50 minutes by car.
