The picturesque walled town of Lazise is on the South East shore of Lake Garda and has a wonderful large piazza and harbourside.  You can walk down to one of the most attractive harbour areas on Lake Garda, well served with excellent shops, restaurants, pizzerias and bars.    Rent a boat or just enjoy the unique and historic scenery including the 12th Century Church, San Nicolo and castle.  Lazise also has surprisingly good shopping with a good selection of clothes, leather goods, shoes plus art galleries, wine stores and many others.

Lake Garda paddle steamers call at Lazise and you can visit virtually any town on the lake and with a good bus service a car isn’t necessary.
