Moniga del Garda

Moniga is a small town with a picturesque harbour and a massive castle on the hill above the town, which you can see on the right as you drive into the town.  Alledgedly there are even streets of houses inside of the castle!  The harbour area is particularly picturesque with a wide expanse of (pebble) beach.   Soiano del Lago and Polpenazze are closeby.

Pagenghe sul Garda

Just slightly North of Desenzano on the West Coast of Lake Garda is Padenghe sul Garda which is the beach area of Desenzano. 

Manerba del Garda Tourist Information

Manerba is a small town between Moniga del Garda and Salo on the West side of Lake Garda.  Manerba is best known for its very nice beaches .  Also just North of Manerba is Lake Garda's largest island, Isola del Garda which was formerly the site of an ancient monastery.

Portese Tourist Information

Porto Portese is a very attractive little harbour close to San Felice del Benaco and Salo, with the village of Portese higher on the hill.
