Moniga del Garda area encompasses Moniga itself, Soiano del Lago, Padenghe sul Garda and Portese.

Moniga del Garda is a small town with a picturesque harbour and a massive castle on the hill above the town, which you can see on the right as you drive into the town.  The harbour area is  particularly picturesque with a wide expanse of (pebble) beach. 

Padenghe sul Garda is the beach area of Desenzano.  Mainly guests use this area for sunbathing which has a largely sandy beach.  There is also boat rental and various bars and restaurants and some good hotels nearby.  It is handy also for Moniga and Desenzano

Manerba is a small town between Moniga del Garda and Salo on the West side of Lake Garda best known for its very nice beaches and also a microbrewery.

Porto Portese is a very attractive little harbour close to San Felice del Benaco and Salo, with the village of Portese higher on the hill.  It has a pizzeria and restaurant and is very scenic and popular for an easy walk along the lakeside.

San Felice is only a tiny village near Salo, but the lake is just amazingly blue in this small harbour and the views across the lake take your breath away.
