Apartment Resort

Residence Allegra is very nice resort consisting of recently constructed  buildings with a total of 12 apartments.  It has its own swimming pool, barbecue, underground garage and use of a  central washing machine.  It is situated 300 m from Lake Garda and 1000 m from Lazise (about a 30 minute walk).   The walk is along the lakeside (Gardesana) road, which is largely very flat and an easy walk.

The lakeside road is also lined with bars, pizzerias, restaurants and hotels so is an interesting walk.  Nearer to Lazise there are shops and two supermarkets.

Residence Allegra is also close to the fabulous La Boheme Restaurant (photograph below) and also Gem's Irish Pub, which is one of the few themed pubs in Lazise as most are (unsurprisingly)  Italian.

Guest Comments

The grounds to the apartments were beautifully kept

Lazise Information

Lazise is situated between Peschiera in the South East corner of the Lake and Bardolino, it is the town on the lake which meets the road from Verona.

Lazise is one of the many jewels in the crown of Lake Garda, situated on the South East shore of the lake and convenient for Ryanair from Verona Brescia or Milan Bergamo or Easyjet to Venice.  It is a ancient walled city and exceptionally picturesque as a holiday destination and has an amazing mix of fantastic lake views, stunning historical Italian architecture and interesting shopping including a number of designer label shops as well as many smaller specialist shops, not to mention a plethora of bars, pizzerias and restaurants.  It also has a lovely harbourside with bars and restaurants and a large promenade.  Time will pass very quickly at Lazise.

You can rent a pleasure boat, or charter a yacht at the nautical centre or for the less nautical just take a leisurely paddle steamer or catamaran to one of the many other picture perfect towns dotted across the lake such as Salo or Gardone Riviera.  Cyclists can rent a bike and cycle North on a lakeside path to Garda and beyond.  Click for more Lazise Tourist Information.

Nearby Attractions

Don't miss the Classique Restaurant overlooking the lake,  La Boheme restaurant along the lakeside road or Gallehus at Pacengo.  Amadeus Restaurant is also highly recommended.  The lakeside road has everything from fine dining to bike rental.  Lazise is also in a great position to visit any of the other Lake Garda attractions including Gardaland, Movie Studios Park, Aqua Paradise Park, the Zoo at Pastrengo,  the Olive Oil museum at Cisano near Bardolino and a motor museum at Villafranca.  There are numerous sporting activities, including several tennis courts and boat rental near the harbour, there are many excellent golf courses a car ride away.   However relaxing and just enjoying the atmosphere of this little piece of heaven on earth is also a popular pastime.

Further afield is the cable car ride to the summit of Monte Baldo at Malcesine, Verona is only a half hour drive and both Venice and Milan are two hours away by train or car.

Plus there are many other towns and interesting places to explore all around Lake Garda which can be easily reached by ferry or road from Lazise.
